VAwesome customer service!! Greeted as soon as I came through the door! Matt is a sweet heart and very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu selection! Clean restaurant with fresh hot food always wins in my book.
I enjoyed my first visit there. The food was great service was excellent. We were the last customers and they got us in a timely manner .
This was our first time at Miami Grill since it reopened. We came on a Saturday around 2pm to dine in. The decor is nice and the staff are friendly. The food was very good and fresh. There is enough variety on the menu that we will be back to explore more options.
I think the strange thing about this place is the duality... the branding is both Miami Subs and Miami Grill; it has a drive thru but also a small bar with little TVs set on sports channels; you order at the counter and pump ketchup from tubs but they bring your food out on dishes and clean up your table for you. We waited for our food longer than expected for a fast food joint, but it came out faster than a regular diner or grill would.
I understand the difficulty of a company rising from the ashes with so many existing buildings to repurpose. But I think this duality will hurt them in the long run, because if you come in with any expectations either way, you will be disappointed. We enjoyed ourselves but I think they will need to decide if they are a fast food joint (and speed things up) or a grill (and class things up) to be able to succeed.
I can’t stress how great the customer service is. The boy in the front, Khalil, always makes me feel welcomed and important. It’s like You come for the food and stay for the kindness and atmosphere !!
*** Old review ***
Gyro meat was obviously severely freezer burned and no veggies were put on the wrap.
*** Update ***
The local Miami Grill got back in touch with me to try again. I was pleasantly surprised with the wrap on the second attempt and can honestly say that it’s worth your time to stop by and pick up a Gyro. The meat was wonderfully seasoned and the fresh veggies gave it that extra pop. Very flavorful and the fries were fantastic as well.
I appreciate Miami Grill reaching out to me and making things right.
