Gator's Dockside Baymeadows

I visited during a poker tournament. Though the place was packed; the most impressive thing to me was the service. Our server was on-point, friendly and definitely made us feel welcome. The wings were good. Food hot. 2-for-1 drinks made for a great visit.

Casual atmosphere with nice mixed crowd. The karaoke was great to watch as well. The wings were cooked and seasoned well so they tasted pretty great. Our server was very personable and upbeat but not very attentive. The only issue and the reason for only three stars is that this establishment is extremely slow with orders. Even the draft that was ordered didn't get served until our meal was finished. We'll try again and I'll update the review if it's any better.

Was in Jacksonville for business and stumbled across Gators Dockside. Great place...matter of fact, was in town for 4 days and visited GD 3 of the days.
Great establishment...friendly staff...great happy hour...friendly staff. Randy @ the bar was AWESOME...said he had been there many years...that in itself says alot...will definitely be on my stopping list next time Jacksonville????????????

Stopped on 2/18 for a quick lunch. Great service, and it was fast. Restaurant is spacious and clean.

I recommend the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and Gator bites. The sandwich is huge, has a great buffalo flavor and your stomach will thank you. Tasty gator bites too. Their fries are crinkle-cut but taste a bit on the frozen side; maybe they weren't fresh or something.

There is also an arcade section with a Demolition Man pinball and Crazy Taxi with a large LCD display that will punch you in the jaw. Kill a couple quarters and pick up some passengers while you wait for your food. :)

I would recommend this Gator's Dockside to any Florida travelers driving through I-95 to get to their destination.

Our waitress Gabby was amazing! There's a pool table which was awesome. We each got wings which were a little small but the flavor was good. The parking was plenty. I moderately recommend. I can see this place easily getting busy but we got our food in a great time and the service was above superior to most other places
