Beach Diner San Marco

One of my top spots for american food. Food was so tasty. The bill was appropriate for the quality.

Visiting FL from CT, we we're kinda late for breakfast, but enjoyed our first BD lunch. I was a bit disappointed the only Reuben was pastrami, so being last of 4 to order I made a quick change to egg salad. It was stuffed with egg salad, L & T, served with home style potato salad, w/egg. Others all had great meals, incl. one breakfast. I did consider a BELT, for breakfast, BLT w/egg. Today I looked at their menu, and was surprised to see the Corned Beef Reuben listed. A bit annoyed by that!

Nice little atmosphere. I ate there this morning and while the grits weren't ready (they were trying to make more but it was taking a little bit longer than anticipated) they did everything they could to accommodate me (they gave me more than they should have and I finally I said I didn't need anything else haha). Everyone was super nice and the food was great!

I have visited other locations in Fernandina and San Marco, but this was my first at the San Jose location. Clean, bright, busy and friendly staff. Outdoor seating too. I was impressed with my order of the bagel and lox. Generous portion of salmon and a nice sized bagel. Served with everything on the side, which I appreciate. Red onion, capers, cream cheese, sliced tomato. My son ordered the Benedict with crab. The egg was perfectly poached. The crab tends to make the English muffin a bit soggy. We shared halfsies.
