El Ranchito

I don't usually leave reviews but this warrants one. The food is very good here. I've been looking for a good Mexican resturant since I moved here and I've finally found my spot! I will be returning for sure! The waiter was also very kind and helpful. Awesome experience.

I've been eating at El Ranchito probably 3 times/month for 12 years, going back to the days when Senora Hernandez and the lovely Angelina ran the place. In my opinion, a restaurant may be judged by the depth of its menu. I have gotten very deep into the menu at El Ranchito and have never been disappointed. Every dish I have eaten is notable for freshness, consistency, and flavor. The best cafe cubano in Jacksonville, sin duda, y las tres leches tambien. La comida es muy rico y Jorge y Kenny y su familia son muy amables!! Le doy seis estrellas!!

Amazing and authentic Colombian food for those days when you say "screw my diet." The people are very friendly, but it tends to take a while to prepare your delicious food, so be patient. They also have some traditional Cuban and Mexican recipes on the menu. This little hole-in-the-wall is a true gem!

Empanadas were ordered based on previous reviews and they were awesome! My wife and I split the traditional Columbian plate and it was more than enough for us both with the empanadas! We took home some tres leches and it was incredible! All the food and people were authentic. We were treated very well and we enjoyed the food! Will definitely return!
