River City Brewing Company

All I can say is Wow....Phenominal...Fantastic...This is the top #1 restaurant I have ever been to in Jacksonville in every way for sure....Simply the best....View is incredible, food is great, beer is tops. They brew their own there to let you know. Been there many many many many many times (so many stories to tell) AND YES, THE PLACE WAS REALLY THAT OUTSTANDING. and was never ever dis-appointed in any way.

On a day that we were just out sightseeing, we stumbled onto this place and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be. Our waiter, Guy, was super helpful and very entertaining! Then the food arrived and, honestly, I can't come up with enough adjectives to describe the flavorful party in my mouth it created. I was so glad we discovered this wonderful gem!

There is no way possible that people with a single taste bud thinks the food is awful..no way! I live outside of New Orleans and I know what Southern/seafood is suppose to taste like and this is THE place! I will tell anyone that is planning to open a resteraunt to come here to see what good food taste like! This is an amazing place with a stellar out door dining experience. Our server Guy M. was fun, hospitable, attentive and wonderful! We will return and highly recommend the best place on the river.

It was my first time here a few days ago. I was impressed by the location and the layout. It was awesome. The only problem I ran into was a rude bartender. An aggressive attitude and not polite or kind at all. He did make an attempt to be a little more kind when I did what he demanded rudely. I'm not sure his name but if I were the owner I'd like my staff to be more welcoming. The sound was great though. Everything else was worth it. I'd come back.
