Frisky Dolphin Sunset Oyster Bar & Grill

The food looks great and makes for great photos, however the taste falls short in my opinion. The baked oysters in particular were underwhelming even though they look amazing. The gumbo was tasty - definitely order that if you go. Overall a decent spot but there are better options very close by.

Run don't walk straight to the FD. Food is great and the atmosphere is very laid back. Tonight I had the Oysters Frisky - delicious. I'm from Louisiana and can give mad props to places when they do oysters well. These were amazing! I also had the Blue Crab Claws sauteed - phenomenal! I could drink the left over butter/garlic mixture. These guys haven't disappointed yet. They are super busy most night so don't sweat the wait for food. Grab a drink or three, you will be very happy you waited.

We hit the Frisky Dolphin after a boat rental and we are happy we did. The food was made quickly and was great tasting. The location is not accessible friendly as the ramp up to the second story is very steep and you have to cross over a rough parking lot to get to it. However it is totally worth the effort. The location is kinda easy to find but the sign is hard to see the name due to the way it is painted. The shrimp tacos were amazing and the cheese sticks were great. The key lime pie was to die for and we will definitely be back. They were super friendly. We had a drink spilled on us by the server but I have had worse happen and she was very apologetic.
