Water Pig BBQ

The food was really good. The brisket was as good as any restaurant in Texas, and the portion sizes were more than adequate. The wait time wasn't horrible. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues with getting wrong items, but our waitress took care of everything in a very timely manner all the while with a smile on her face. She went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.

Really was good! We all enjoyed our meals. I had the sampler, which is way more food than I could eat. I read some of the lower reviews before posting about dryness..which ours wasn't...but apparently they don't understand that smoking meats isn't always perfect, it's about the flavor. We are from Okla with BBQ restaurants/stands about every mile & this place could teach a few of them how to smoke meat. It is a little higher & sides are extra, but it is a tourist town so expected, but much cheaper than seafood prices.

Glad we tried it! They’re currently having some issues with their computers, we had to come back the next day because it was cash only the first, but I think it was worth it. The Blue Angel frozen drink was great, I loved the Mac and Cheese, their club sandwich is pretty good, and the bits and pieces I tried from my family were good as well. Our waitress was really nice too. I bet if we were to go in a week or two it would be 5 stars instead.

Nice find right on the water. Food service was FAST! Fairly limited menu, but everything was good. Sampler platter and loaded tots are what we ordered. I would have loved a nacho or baked potato option, but we enjoyed our meals after a long travel day. The Chardonnay from a can was really good - better than a lot of House wines that I’m served. Equivalent to 2 glasses, but $15 was a surprise. The beer was cold.
