Packed house and servers extremely helpful and stayed on top of it. Very relaxed atmosphere and the food was delicious! Clean bathrooms on such a busy day was a definite plus. Serving size will fill you up and don't skimpy on a beer - dark one was so very flavorful. Others were nice but didn't hit quite like the dark one which paired well with the food.
My husband and I visited for Valentines Day and it was absolutely incredible all around. We chose the lamb and duck plates and it was by far the best food we have had in our lives. What made it even better was the chef walking it out to us himself. We will most definitely be returning and recommending to everyone!
A restaurant that brings authentic German cuisine to Pensacola!🥨🍻
If you enjoy European food, Bavaria gives you a variety of German eats to choose from!
Atmosphere: The interior reminded me of a castle, and they did well with showing the German culture in their decorations.
Service: The few times I’ve come, there is typically a little bit of a wait for either seating or receiving the food. There may not be enough servers to accommodate all of the tables some days!
Menu items: I ordered the Frikadelle (Meatballs) dish—everything on the plate was delicious, but I loved the potatoes the best. They were seasoned perfectly! I’m also not the biggest fan of tiramisu, but this one wasn’t overly sweet and had a smooth texture. So, it gets a 10/10 from me!
I’ve tried several of their other food items (giant pretzel, Rahmschnitzel, & Bratwurst) as well and have enjoyed every dish!🥔🧆🥗🍮
I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was delicious, the service was great, and the portions were extremely generous! The atmosphere is like a typical German restaurant with shared tables. They offer a variety of different German beers and other forms of German imported alcohol. They also have pizza in the back of the restaurant besides their German fare. We ordered different meals and every one was delicious! My favorite was the jagerschnitzel- the best I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back next time we visit this area.
Let's be honest: This ain't inexpensive. And the mash-up of great pizza and German-style food is ... a choice. But the food is pretty good. Not quite the same as being in Berlin, perhaps, but it's a lot closer.
