Calling all meat lovers!🥓🥩🍗🍖
The Pensacola Smokehouse offers a variety of smoked meats and sides for all taste buds!
Atmosphere: Located where South Market used to be, the restaurant is snuggled in downtown just a few blocks away from Palafox! They have indoor and outdoor seating with a cozy interior and a beautifully lit up exterior!
Service: The waitress that was serving us consistently checked up on us, answered questions about the menu, and was attentive in taking care of us!
Menu items: We got The Pursuit of Meat Sweats which is the perfect choice if you’d like to eat for two and try a little bit of everything! The tray comes with five different meats, four sides, two slices of garlic bread, and sauces on the side! All of the meat selections were tender and smoked to perfection.
The menu overall is fairly simple: appetizers, sandwiches, a salad, BBQ platters, sides, and desserts in addition to three different BBQ sauces, so you can get a sauce flight to try with all of the meat! There are also serve a lot of gluten free options!
Food was phenomenal! Large portions and excellent quality. Kitchen had an unexpected staffing shortage at shift change and the management handled it beautifully. Very pleased and we will return.
Nice place, has nice christmas music playing. Food is delicious, Smocked Chicken 1/4's so so yummy, caslaw very good too. Pulled pork was good. I would definitely recommend smocked chicken.
This is by far the best food I have had since going gluten free due to a celiac diagnosis 2 years ago. Mac and cheeze was amazing and the gluten free buns are so good!!! Wife said it is defintly her new favorite place to eat as well. Our server Ashley was super knowledgable about celiacs and I had zero anxiety eating here which was a nice change.
We order Pursuit of Meat Sweats. A meal for two. About meat, it was a rainbow of flavors, salt, sweet, smoked, like. Ask for bourbon BBQ sauce, it's amazing. If you like BBQ beans this is the place. Coleslaw is perfect for intense flavors. The Texas bread your mount will enjoy.
