Great location. I love Cuban food and it being right across the street from the beach makes it unique. Usually near beaches you typically get pizza or Italian. Good to have a different option.

I’ve stopped in quite a few times. One of my favorite Flagler Beach restaurants. It’s always delicious and the food is authentic. If it’s open and I’m passing by I always stop for a Cuban coffee!

Right across from the beach, good food. The Cuban pork, with the black beans & rice was a hit. Probably the best food in the area

Absolutely love this spot! A great addition to Flagler Beach! We eat here at least once a week, I’ve had quite a few things on the menu and loved every single one!

What a nice surprise Flagler Beach! Dulce De Leche Café serves an array Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Mexican foods, desserts, and beverages. We ordered Vaca Frita and Ropa Veja. You immediately taste the Cuban flavors even in the white rice. Black beans were a tad thin and scarce (rice to bean ratio was off). The Vaca Frita typically has a nice charred crust yet tender. This was not. An abundance of vinegar/tartness convinced me to request a to go box and finish the cook at home and balance out the seasoning. Surprisingly the Ropa Veja was thankfully not tomato sauce forward. The meat was tender, though not served shredded, which is how it should be served (named after old shredded clothes). Maduros/plantines were sweet, 2 of the 3 tostones ate a bit dry. But overall, it's refreshing to find a place where there is an assortment of Spanish food that goes beyond a taco or tamale. The flan was creamy, and the rice pudding was just the right amount sweetness to the palette. I look forward to trying another dish or two and see how they hold up!
