This is a great place to hang out while having access to the beach. We enjoyed the atmosphere but weren't too impressed with the food. For plate 1- The fish was tasteless and the rice tasted like it was going bad. The conch fritters were good. The drink was ok. Plate 2- Same goes for the fish. The shrimp was great but anything else (seafood wise) was tastless. That plate with seafood is $39.99 and as you can see, there is barely any food on that plate to cost that much.
Will definitely not go there again
Back deck has gorgeous view of the beach--sunset was lovely! Calamari was tops! Food tastes homemade—my husband loved the Seafood Marguerite. The Sandblaster drink was phenomenal! Portions could be a little larger for the price, but overall an enjoyable oceanview seafood experience!
A perennially popular and well deserved spot on the beach locals and tourist must experience. Seafood is fresh and wonderful, staff is courteous fun and knowledgeable. I was born in North Central Florida and have lived there for my 71 years. Been going to St George Island since you had to go over on a ferry :-) blue parrot ever since its existence has been noted for its wonderful seafood. Unfortunately I've been allergic to seafood since my thirties and blue parrot no longer any seafood alternative otherwise I would have given it five stars.
Pretty good seafood. Lobster bisque (so-so). Great oysters. Fried Crab was good. Tap beer is warmer than normal at tiki bar. Bottles are COLD. Price point is good. Most seats aren't comfortable. Total experience A-/B+. Service was pretty good. Not a fan of the solo cups for lunch. 😃
This place has such a great atmosphere and view. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The blackened tuna steak was so huge, and tasted amazing. The baked potato was already very good. The cheese grits and burger were okay, but the fries were definitely perfect. There wasn't a wait for a table around 5 on Saturday, Ave the place wasn't crowded at all. They do try to socially distance the tables. I definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area.
