“Last Friday we enjoyed a really nice evening on the deck listening to live music. I had the ribeye and asked them to put lots of spices on it and it was perfect! The mash potatoes were home made and delicious! The other side was green peas and carrots and initially I though they would not be my preferred vegetable BUT I was wrong. I wish I knew how they were seasoned and would have liked to have had two more servings!!! They were a nice surprise. My husband had the shephards pie and friend had the Reuben with side winder fries and they both enjoyed their selection. Oh, and we had onion rings for an appetizer and they were just right (we ate half before I took this picture). They come with a strong spicy mustard so if that's not your preference, ask for a different sauce, ketchup or eat them without sauce! After a rough start, Off the Rails is getten' it right! And, they appreciate feedback so share your thoughts with the wait staff and owners if they are there. Looking forward to many more meals with friends and family!”

“We first entered and were promptly greeted and seated by one of the owners. Small and quaint would best describe the atmosphere there, with light music playing in the background, light enough one could listen or have an adult conversation. We ordered two appetizers, the shrimp and the bacon wrapped scallops. The shrimp had great flavor, but to me was served at room temperature or just above, which was fine for my wife as she’d prefer they weren’t over cooked. The scallops on the other hand came out cold in the middle as if they had come straight out of the fridge or freezer. We notified the server who promptly and professionally took them and bright them back when they were done. I thought the bacon, although delicious, over powered the taste of the scallops. My wife and I both ordered there special which was smoked prime rib. All servings are served “medium rare” so they say. I thought mine was above medium rare. It was a thin slice of prime rib with decent flavor but a little chewy. The dipping sauce was excellent for the prime rib and also the French fries I ordered which were excellent! The second side I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes which were delicious! My wife and I both loved them. She ordered the Mac and cheese for her second side and they were really well done! I would give this adventure really a 3.5. Don’t let that fool you because I believe it was just my experience on that day and time. My wife and I are already looking forward to returning and trying several more things that looked good on the menu. Prices were a little high we thought but considering everything not bad. They do not serve or sell alcohol but they will let you bring your own in as we saw others do. They even brought them wine glasses!”

“I'm from out of town and this place was great. So far I have tried the burger, shrimp, and potato salad. All of them were incredible. They literally have the best potato salad I have ever eaten. The burgers are so fresh and juicy. And the shrimp weren't big or anything, but i really liked the breading. Definitely would recommend. Seems to be a small place in a city with not many options so there can be a wait sometimes but I feel like the wait is worth it.”

“We got the crab claws as an app and there was a generous amount. At least 4 people could share. The garlic butter served with crackers was to die for! I got the fried oysters (some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m from the Gulf of Mexico area!) and crab legs which were delicious too. My mom got catfish fillet she said we’re okay. My fries and cheese grits were only okay too. Overall we will be back for the seafood, the sides, not so much.”
