Friday evening and they had a Prime Rib special. I like end cuts of prime rib. After moving to SW Florida 8 years ago, I've finally found the right place to get a great end cut.

A local favorite or Labelle and those just passing through on Hwy 80. There food is as good as they smell and they offer service with a smile! They always offer a tasting of their soup of they day and if you make a happy plate you'll get a choice of ice cream or sherbet. My favorite is their pulled pork sandwich, with baked beans and a sweet potato. Can't wait to read what yours will be.

The Log Cabin is a local BBQ for us, and the service and food are always great. However, I do want to comment on their beef BBQ salad in hopes they'll make an improvement.

At most restaurants, a BBQ salad means the salad arrives to your table with, well, a BBQ flare. What we were served was a bowl of lettuce topped with a pile of what tasted like roast beef from Arby's. No BBQ sauce, or even a smoked BBQ taste. Not to mention there was quite a bit of water in the bowl from the lettuce not being drained/dried.

My suggestion, 1) serve the BBQ salad with meat that has 'your' BBQ sauce (or at least offer the option to the customer), 2) serve beef brisket vs roast beef, and 3) for goodness sake cut up the beef vs making the customer cut it up into bite size portions (perhaps even shredded like the pork and chicken option. Just some suggestions.

Bottom line though, we love the restaurant and the staff.

This restaurant goes back several decades. The food is always great and the service is impeccable. If you go on Friday or Saturday you must try the prime rib it is amazing. Every visit they offer free soup at the beginning of your visit yep you read that right free soup, which, by the way, is made fresh everyday. Then, after a great meal, they offer free ice cream . now how many restaurants do that these days. Oh and prices are very reasonable.

AMAZING BBQ . Found this on Yelp and was NOT disappointed at all. Everyone is so polite. The food is amazing. If you like coleslaw, they have the very best coleslaw I have ever tasted. Hubby Had ribs and chicken and it just fell off the bone. We will definitely be back again. HIGHLY suggest this place. And Jocelyn was our server, and she was the best!!!
