Very tasty, made to order food. Fresh, seasonal ingredients. Very friendly staff. Celebrated our anniversary there and based on one brief FB Messenger chat, they remembered and had a special table reserved for my wife and I with flowers and a card. Can’t recommend the food and service enough. Go! You’ll be glad you did.
One of the challenges of moving to this area two years ago has been the lack of truly special places to enjoy a good meal in an attractive setting. But every so often I’ll find a gem like Culina at the PARC, which surprises and excites me. My husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary with brunch there just this morning. The first thing to note is the beautiful natural setting. The outdoor seating is nestled in the trees and overlooks a pond and the garden from where much of the food is sourced. My husband had reached out to them with some questions before our visit, and although they said they don’t normally take reservations, they had very thoughtfully set aside a table for us decorated with wildflowers and a sweet card thanking us for celebrating with them. The server was friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the chef himself came out to chat, which gave us the opportunity to thank him directly for the delicious food. The menu is varied and interesting, full of fresh ingredients and plant-based options. My husband and I shared the corn fritters with lime crema (pictured), I had the plant-based crab cakes with fried rice and remoulade, and my husband had the French toast with berries. We finished with churro beignets. We also had the kiwi-key lime lemonade. Neither of us had a single complaint, it was all delicious and expertly prepared. This is without a doubt one of the best places to eat in Highlands county and I know we will go again. I can’t wait to go back for dinner and take friends and family along to share the experience.
Friends enjoyed lunch here today. Several of us enjoyed “crab cakes” made with hearts of palm, artichokes and seasonings which were delicious. Others had chicken, steak tacos or Ahi poke watermelon nachos and more! We will be back
This is just wonderful!
There’s nothing like it. Great tasting food, a calm natural setting and dedicated staff!
A great family restaurant where kids can play on swings while they wait for the food!
If you haven’t tried Chef Tom’s food, you should check it out. He and his team, including Madison, put their hearts into these culinary creations. I’m a bit biased with good reason but this is definitely an experience to check out while in Highlands County.
