The staff was a little bit slow. But the atmosphere was nice and by the time the food arrived it was terrific ,even though we had to send it back once because they didn't cook it right the first time. You will really enjoy the food.
One of my favorite restaurants! The mac and cheese is one of the best I've had in a restaurant setting. It's usually not enough cheese but here it's made with extra cheese and love. Lol. Everything else is good too! ???? There is a bar which serves really good drinks as well.
This has been my favorite restaurant for years and is a half hour from my home - totally worth the drive! Food is excellent and beautiful with soups usually being exquisite. The warm carrot cake is the best I've had in my life. The service is top notch, always, which is amazing so they must require servers to be well trained in super customer service. We liked it so much we gave a $100 gift certificate to our daughter & her husband for their upcoming anniversary dinner and we usually don't give anniversary presents - they also LOVED the food and service. Plenty of free parking, right off the highway, comfy darker atmosphere (romantic), and window booths available up on a higher level around 2 sides. Never went to the bar there but it is probably awesome. I even like there is such excellent service as you enter the door with more than 1 person to take care of you - 1 stays up front and immediately there is another person appearing to walk you to your seat. Apparently there are some other locations including Pennsylvania and elsewhere in Florida. Their old name was J.Alexanders but the newer name is Redland's Grill - I totally recommend it!
Don’t let some of the bad reviews fool you. This is a must I’m tampa. If you want quality steak, here is the place. I’ve been on several occasions. Not even as close to the price of other upscale places. Nice and quiet atmosphere unless there are a lot of people around. My favorite has to be the prime rib. It is soft and succulent. It comes with a few different dips to try to your liking. The smashed potatoes are the best in Tampa. They have to use at least three potatoes each plate. This is a nice place for a special night or meaningful dinner to sit and talk.
WOW, What a great place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of items to choose from. Portions are a good size. Chicken fingers are awesome, the club sandwich was really good as well. The fries are really yummy. My only complaint which is minor my waiter seemed to disappear and my drink ran dry several times and it wasn't busy. But all in all I'll be back again.
