My husband and I weren't ready to go home so we stop there around 12am. The place is so beautiful the views were amazing. We only had drinks but my sangria was the best I have had outside my house. Our bartender Brandon from Kentucky was very friendly and made good drinks. We will be back!!

This place is great, when midtown I'd finished, it will be booming. We went to the rooftop bar first, it has a pool, outside cabanas, full bar. Bartenders were cool. (FYI - only one elevator worked at the time). After the rooftop bar, we went one floor to another bar, it was not as busy and they have live music, but I guess I didn't come on right day.

SO ANYWAYS, I'm giving it a okay, and double thanks to staff for the great time.

The food was exquisite! The plating matched the flavor and class of the environment. The rooftop ambiance was excellent as well. We had even more fun when the rain storm started! The staff closed the rooftop canopy and afforded us the pleasure of still dining outdoors amidst the rain. Our servers were wonderful as well! We even met one of the owners and sipped some of the best bourbon!

The food was amazing and affordable, drinks were tasty, environment was friendly and fun, and the view was epic. I’m not sure how you could rate this experience under 5 stars. I had an amazing time! Our food was delivered instantly, service was quick, valet parking was nice, what more could you ask for???

If you’re looking for a centrally located, beautiful, contemporary, sophisticated and open space this is it. Sal y Mar has a modern rustic feel, the rooftop patio space wraps around the main restaurant and has the most beautiful view of the Downtown Tampa. The perfect place to catch the sunset. There is a variety of drinks and handhelds, one of the only rooftop bars that has a full menu. I highly recommend asking for Mariana, she made our experience perfect by checking on us, recommending and explaining entrees, and making sure we had a clear table after each course. She was extremely sweet and helpful when going through a new drink and food menu.
