Atithi Indian Vegetarian Cuisine

This is one of my favorite places for Indian food. I like both the ambience and flavor. Way better than some other Indian restaurants that used to be better but have developed thick skins with success (Jai Ho) .

My husband ate here a few weeks ago and brought me back for lunch today. I had the southern thali and it was fantastic ! So full of flavors and more than we could eat. The chef even brought me some mango pickle to try. We will definitely be back !

New name of Atithi looks like a change in ownership. The inside looks identical, at least for now, but the food is quite different and MUCH more for the better. I ordered food a number of times when the place was known as Tabla Indian Cuisine, and the food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t amazing either. The food now, as Atithi Indian Vegetarian Cuisine, is AMAZING! Chana masala is a favorite Indian dish of mine, and this place delivers. The vegetable Manchurian is phenomenal! I haven’t tried anything from this place yet that I haven’t loved. I used to live in NYC and frequented some of many of best Indian restaurants in Jackson Heights that this country probably has to offer, and this restaurant is the closest by far to that quality. Love this place.

Fantastic experience. One of my friends baby shower event was hosted at Atithi and they were really great and flexible to make it as fun as possible along with proper safety measures. Food buffet was good as well. Highly recommended!

Authentic taste and a perfect blend of spices... new management making a big difference to the reputation of the previous restaurant in the same place!! Tried out only some of the items since they are not operational with the full menu due to the pandemic and low customer turn out... but the crew can prepare anything you want from the menu if you call them and place the order in advance... definitely worth trying their “all vegetarian menu”... a welcome treat to your pallets!! Waiting eagerly for the buffet to open and see what specials they offer...
