I'm from out of town, but I hope the people in Tampa continue to support this restaurant.

We had a variety of foods and drinks, and everything came out to impress. I ordered the hot miso soup, which was a little salty, but great!

We also had the BBQ eel, which impressed my brother, and my buddy had about five different skewers, which were delicious.

Finally, the server Joy was prompt, and helpful.

A great experience, and I hope this place stays open for my next visit in two years!

Really delicious and authentic Japanese food! We mostly got the grilled items and a few appetizers. Everything was delicious! We’ve been to a few Japanese restaurants in Florida, and this is by far one of the best ones we’ve been to. I was with my boyfriend and his family who are all Japanese, and we had the pleasant surprise of having a Japanese server! He was very attentive and offered good recommendations. Definitely will be back, especially for their awesome happy hour deals!!!

いらっしゃいませ. Izakaya is a wonderfully cozy Japanese restaurant with THE BEST service I have seen in 10 years of living in Tampa Bay. Incredibly accommodating and friendly staff paired with great tasting food. Their happy hour offers a dollar off on some apps and drinks, not the best deal but its still a deal. Everything we had there tasted really good. We will come back for sushi next time.

Went yesterday for the first time and it was a really good experience. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was really full so we sat at the sushi bar which I didn't really care. Food was so good and fresh. The ambiance and decorations make it feel like you were in Japan. Sushi was one of the best I ever had and that's coming from someone that have eaten sushi all her life. I will definitely go again.

First time going and everything was amazing. I was really impressed with the diverse menu. The servers were incredibly friendly and we received our food very quickly. They have a really great happy hour menu that includes $3 beers & $5-6 appetizers. Will definitely be back very soon!
