“The happy hour prices are great and though it was a bit slow today (a Tuesday afternoon, go figure), it's normally a decent crowd. Sunday afternoon they have excellent Bloody Mary's with lots of 'toppings' available. It can be a meal. The pizza is good too. It gets a little rowdy late at night, but really that's a result of it being a fun place. It has a bit of a dive vibe, but in a nicer space. Judging from the name that's what they were going for. It works.”

“What's not to love about Jayne Withers and Sealantro. Jayne is a true wizard in the kitchen. I signed up for one of her Vegan meal plans and was blown away. More than 30 fresh meals and not one repeated dish. I've tried other plans that lacked creativity and true chef skills. From BBQ Pulled Jackfruit to Vegan Alfredo and everything in between. Through her beautifully prepared meals, I was introduced to Vegan Cheese which I avoided in the past. Now... I absolutely love it. Thank you Jayne.”

“Was waiting at another subway and the air felt so negative. The subway employee seemed Like he didn’t enjoy doing what he did. He was super slow and didn’t look like he cared about anything. I then left. Ended up at this subway and immediately walking through the doors I was greeted by an employee with a smile on her face. I then knew that this was the place I wanted to enjoy my dinner with my daughter. She was super positive and so nice! I loved her interaction with my daughter and our conversation. I honestly won’t go to any other subway now because of pricilla. Subway team! Don’t let this go unnoticed! She deserves 5 Stars!”

The menu has such a great selection and I tried the Cuban Sandwich (my servers recommendation.) The sandwich was served with a pasta salad, coleslaw, and a piece of watermelon. Very delicious! The owners and staff care about every single customer and the deliciousness of the food they serve. Everything we have tried was incredible. They have also created a new sauce called yum yum. If you like sweet with heat, do yourself a favor and try it! The beer is ice cold as well. Make sure you take an opportunity and get over to Skis Hideaway if you love great food with huge portions!”

It had great reviews and we decided to have lunch after going to the art show and my wife remembered this restaurant. We had a late lunch and had the croquette monsieur special. It was delicious. They had alot of different items on the menu to choose from as well as an ample beer menu. It is great to find another local restaurant that provides delicious, quality food in a very nice atmosphere in our new hometown. Give them a try, they are local and love what they do! “Downtown may even be BETTER than 43rd avenue. Well, that's an overstatement, but I love this place. I love the people, the product, the environment - all of it. The downtown cafe is quite small so if you are going to sit for a while, you'll need to get comfortable being close to others (an added bonus in my opinion). What you will always get are fresh baked good (homemade!) and the BEST - BY FAR - cup of coffee you can find in Vero Beach. The staff is uber-friendly, always ready to take care of your request and though the menu is limited, all the items I've had from it are exceptional and there are enough choices to offer you something you'll enjoy! Best coffee in town!!”

My mom and I both had really lovely sandwiches on wonderful bread and my dad said it was the best spaghetti and meatballs hes had in some time. “Countryside Citrus has bee one of our favorite "stop spots" when kicking around on the beach-side of Vero. We have always popped in for the orange/vanilla slushy drinks and ice cream (something I'd recommend for everyone). Recently, we stopped in for some refreshment and saw that they are now boasting a some taco selections for those who need more than a refreshing drink. We ordered a couple of tacos - from a list of very creative options. We grabbed a seat in the out-door area, waited for the tacos to be ready (didn't take too long) and enjoyed them immensely. Fresh, creative, tasty! You really don't want to miss Countryside if you are visiting our little beach community!”
