Black Bear Golf Club

Golf shop employees were helpful and gracious. Green fees weren't to bad, we drove an hourbto play here. First time playing and the starter was very helpful and kind. Overall a great day for Golf and the course was in good condition, the greens were in awesome shape. Played slow in the morning but with the sun, they sped up a little.

Course was a challenge VERY small greens and rolling hills and valleys. The club house and pro shop was nice and we'll stocked. Only issue to prevent a 5 star rating was after using the men's room after the front nine while at the tenth tee the course ranger was a bit of a jerk and rude telling us to hurry up we are causing a backup. I don't believe we were and if so you can speak to paying customers with a bit of respect and get the results you wish. Won't be back.

The black bear country club has to be one of my favorite in lake county. Besides the course itself being extremely gorgeous and well designed. The clubhouse is great! The food is great! They also have a selection of items to browse from if you're looking to purchase anything you might need..

Black Bear is one of the best kept golf courses in Central Florida. It is a difficult but entertaining course for all level of players and it has the best kitchen of, at least, all the courses I've played at... and I've been around... Go, play, eat, drink and enjoy Black Bear Golf Course.

Overall, top-notch place. We've been to quite a few courses lately and Black Bear stands above. The course is in great shape for this "Florida winter" time of year. The greens were somewhat challenging but smooth and the staff was fun-loving and very hospitable. We'll definitely be back.
