“First I do not know why people say it is expensive. I paid $16 tax included for 10 pieces of chicken which also included to breasts. I tried to order through the drive-in but that didn't work out so I went inside. The lady who waited on me was very nice and did the best she could and getting my order together. My only complaint was the batter on the chicken was very salty and I love salt. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly. Hopefully they do a little better in time.”

“We came from St. Catherine's in The Villages (just a short drive). The restaurant was easy to find, exceptionally clean and had plenty of parking. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. We had the Fried Chicken which was fresh, hot, tender and juicy. And the sides were Amazing! We will definitely be back! “My daughter and I stopped in out of the blue for a quick lunch after finding the rest of the cafe’s on Main Street to be closed (noon on a sat!). I am so glad we did. The service was top notch and the flatbread personal pizzas were very good. We ordered the Hawaiian and the BBQ chicken (and shared them). My daughter’s favorite was the Hawaiian and mine was the BBQ chicken. The banana peppers were a great twist. Next time we are in the area we will be back.”

“Excellent. As good as before they closed for renovations. The decor is beautiful, the service top notch, and food delicious. We had the chicken fajitas taco salad. It hasn't changed a bit. We also had an order of the nachos supreme. Boyfriend said it was a bit too dry for him, so he added the leftover cheese dip appetizer and he really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.”

“Clean place with great food. Agree with previous review that hibachi could use less broccoli and more of other vegetables. Sushi was good and plenty for the lunch portion. Food is fresh but a little long in coming out. AC on cooled down the hot dinners pretty fast. Our server, a lovely black lady, was delightful. The Asian servers not as pleasant. Reviews being read by management may change things. Great management is key to success. We wish Sumi all the best!”

“Happy to have an affordable fried seafood joint so convenient to our weekly routines! Love that it’s counter service, makes it quicker and keeps the cost down. I’ve tried the catfish, hush puppies, shrimp, fried mushrooms and a gyro, so far. All good at a fair price. Staff here is hard-working and very friendly. “I never really write reviews, I decided to because I thought this was a unique set up and restaurant. My wife has been here a few times she had chicken and it tasted great, all 3 times she came they gave fresh fried chicken. I tried it this past weekend, and it was great. The store had a great atmosphere, everything was clean and fresh, a huge concept of the store. I would like to see more of these Cafe Corners around. I had a Philly cheesesteak and it tasted great. I loved how it had fresh squeezed Orange Juice, and how it had Boars Head meats. It’s a new concept for fast food. Highly recommend.”

“I use to go to the tap room that was there before and was curious what they did with the place. The menu was pretty limited, but the food was good. Beer was decent. They offer their own beer as well as guest taps. The only thing I will note is that the bartender that was serving us was not wearing a face mask and it made me feel uncomfortable. We will not be coming back because of that until this whole COVID-19 thing clears up.”

“Loved my breakfast wrap. Service was great, a little disappointed that it seemed like the manager was the one who brought my food out and didn’t notice my hash browns were completely burnt (should have pictured) and turned and walked away without even a ‘can I get you anything else?’ But I tried the hash browns, couldn’t do it, and asked politely if I could have a new round and they did it no problem- still could have been less crispy but MUCH better. Overall loved it though! I definitely am a fan of smaller diners ❤️ Edit: Returned two more times since and have just made a point to ask for light hash browns and have had great service and breakfast since! Would definitely recommend!”
