As we were driving through Leesburg, I was put to task to find a reasonably priced restaurant. When I saw the name "Magnolia's", I was immediately intrigued.

Let me tell you, from the street side, unless you knew ahead of time, you probably wouldn't think they would serve anything other than beer and booze. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised that they had a nice assortment of seafood items. We both ordered the fried fish sandwiches which came with toasted bread, homemade tartar sauce and hush puppies, seasoned fries and sliced tomatoes which tasted like they were grown locally. We literally didn't say anything for 10 minutes. THAT WAS HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS!!!

I highly recommend it if anyone is up for trying something fun and off the beaten path. If you have a drive ahead of you and beer/wine aren't in the cards, their sweet tea with fresh lemon is just what the doctor ordered ????

This is a fun gem hidden in downtown Leesburg. The bartender was a little out of but that contributed to the overall vibe. The other customers were all super friendly and talkative. The oysters are fresh and shucked right in front of you. I will return when I am back in town.

Definitely a locals place. We were in the area and found it online. When we found it my wife was dubious given the appearance. Dive bar, biker bar might describe it. Inside has only 3 booths, a bar and some high tops. Inside looks as rough as outside. We stayed and enjoyed what is the best New England clam chowder anywhere. I had the fried cod platter and my wife had the frog's legs platter. Generous portions and excellent quality. My wife said were the best frogs legs ever. Service was very friendly also. Overall reasonably priced.
