City star family diner

I have been there 6 times. Every time was great except the time my wife and I went for breakfast. Took forever to get waited on and food served. Had it been my first time, I may have not come back. I would chalk it up to being busy, but some of the other times I was there the place was packed and I was waited on and served in a timely manner. Food and pricing are good. Staff is friendly and attentive. I like the blue plate type menu. I'll give breakfast another try soon. A good and affordable fast food alternative.

Had breakfast there this morning. I had two eggs over easy, home fries, sausage patties and wheat toast. The restaurant was nice and clean and the host and server were friendly and reasonably attentive, but the food was lacking. The eggs were closer to over medium than they were to over easy and there wasn't much yolk to dip the toast into...not a big deal, it happens. The home fries were disappointing, however, as they weren't uniformly cut and due to the varying sizes cooked differently (or in the case of some of the larger pieces not at all), as the smaller pieces were very overdone and the larger ones were very underdone. The sausage patties were large and tasted good, and the wheat toast was fine. All in all, an okay place but I'm not going to be running back here anytime soon.

Very nice place... Loved the ambiance... Our server Cindy was awesome, she has an aura about her like someone you've known for years... Price's are very reasonable and food was nicely positioned... Definitely reccomend this place and we will be returning soon...

This is our 2nd time here and my husband and I enjoyed the food just like we did the first time! I don’t remember what we ate the first time, we just knew we wanted to come back!! This time I had their Gyro with tater tots and he had the chopped steak with gravy and fries. ???????? The atmosphere is so pleasant, our server Brenna was great. Her bubbly attitude and attention was very much appreciated. We’ll be back y’all
