WAVE - Asian Bistro & Sushi

Service on Sundays has been terrible. On our most recent visit, we had to wait over an hour to be seated told it would be 25mins. People that arrived after us week seated before us. Would have been nice if they offered for us to sit down instead of standing for ever. Staff was not busy but lazy. Very obvious to see the small amount of people with more than enough staff “standing around”.
If food was not so good we would have left.

Need to add milk to the menu. How can you have an amazing PB&J sandwich with no milk?!?
After we left, we saw our waitress in the back doing what appeared to be a drug deal.

Disappointed in our last experience. Nothing like what it is has been in the past. We will try again (not on a Sunday) because the food has always been great.

Hopefully they have Milk in the future..... The Elvis is amazing and I am glad I finally tried it. Took over 7 yrs to finally try but I fell in love once I did. Have ordered it a few times to go but never get to eat in the restaurant when the sandwich really is at its best, because of not having milk ????

Super creative restaurant. Sushi quality is great. Don't hesitate and try the food. Ask for other dishes they don't have on the menu. Check their Instagram account. You'll find hot dog sushi, burger sushi and more. They'll prepare them for you.

What were the odds of me finding out a decent sushi place in Mt. Dora, Fl? I’d say slim but I decided to give this place a try and lo and behold, I was mesmerized. This place has a unique twist on sushi. Very creative and artistic in a sense which one can only experience by paying this little place a visit. Words can not do it justice. The service staff was absolutely wonderful. Christan made my family feel like we were dinning in our own home. She was very knowledgeable on the food items and very attentive to our needs. My kid is very picky when it comes to food but she knew exactly what to order for the little ones that I didn’t have to worry about it. I had a spicy tuna burger which was cooked to perfection. I can not wait to go back and sample all the other menu items that wave has to offer .

Absolutely amazing! The service was incredible! Our waitress Ariel had a ton of very helpful recommendations, and was super friendly! The food was spectacular, everything looked and tasted so fantastic! Finally the dessert was out of this world. We will be coming back again as many times as we can! 5/5 10/10 110% Would recommend! Awesome place, fun for people looking for a twist, and cuisine classicists alike. Their beer and wine selection is impeccable and they have a gorgeous view of the city. The location is quite exclusive and they pull off the Bistro vibe exceptionally. Glad to see such a cool little foodie paradise in town!
