Really nice place to watch the sunset. Crew was great, very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back soon!
Good food, good location by the beach. Great place to get a drink and watch the sunset. Good service. Limited bar selection though. Need a blender for their bar too.
Stopped by for lunch. Had the shrimp tacos that were served with chips and salsa. The chips were a little stale but NO problem because the tacos were huge and delicious, didn’t need them. Our waiter was attentive (we didn’t tell him about the chips). The price was reasonable. Atmosphere excellent. These owners have a great sense of humor too! I would eat there again.
This seaside stalwart keeps going and going. My childhood memories all come rushing back when we enter the parking lot. One of the only eateries in the area actually on the water. The fried grouper sandwich is one of my favorites. They don't serve alcohol but a good selection of beer and wine will keep you busy. Come for a sunset dinner and enjoy live music. You haven't been to Captiva until you've been to The Mucky Duck.
This was a childhood favorite and continues to be a go-to place as an adult. They have great food and their sunset views at dinner cannot be beat. They have a large menu and I have yet to have anything less than what I would describe as perfect. They have a big alcohol menu as well for the adults but this place is well suited for families or that romantic date night.
I fondly remember Victor, the owner, wheeling around the window on wheels to give every customer a "window seat" or the gag bottles of ketchup and mustard that he would shoot onto the kids. This place continues to be a timeless Captiva treasure even now.
