Capt'n Fishbones Seafood Grill

Decent meal but the service could have been better. I had fried clams, and they were good! Having to hunt down your server for a refill when it's dead though...

I went for the all-you-can-eat fish fry that happens every Friday night. It was very crowded. The fish was not crispy at all and was clearly fraud in advance. Everything else was delicious though and even the fish had a great flavor. Because it was so crowded, service was a bit sketchy. It was okay.

This has really turned into a fun, happening place over the years.
The music from the band is a little loud, during lunch and dinner hours though. I like loud music, but when you're going out to eat lunch, I don't want to scream in the person's ear next to me, so we can have a conversation. The volume of music is more suited for just nighttime bar atmosphere....Other than that, it's a really fun and cool little local spot and I really love the improvements they've made over the years.
And it's dog friendly! A+++

I brought a friend from out of town to Capt' Fishbones today. I usually eat there a couple time a year and never had a bad experience.
Our waiter today was Matthew. He was probably one of the best waiters I've ever had in all my years of restaurant dining. Matthew automatically brought extra napkins without us having to ask. I automatically add a 25% tip when servers do that. He was friendly and kept checking on us, he cleared dirty plates and refilled our drinks. He was fantastic. The food was delicious as usual. I had the fried fish sandwich and the sweet potato fries. I loved how sweet the fries actually were. Everything tasted fresh. My friend had the cob salad and clam chowder. She said hers was good too. Keep up the good work!
