George & Wendy's Seafood Grill

Too dark and dreary. Like a dark bar. They wont open the curtain because its too hot they say. It was absolutely beautiful and breezy. Dont think about you guest folks. Food was average but hot and quick. Beer always good.

Don't miss stopping for lunch, brunch or dinner at George & Sandy's! It is located near Bailey's Grocery Store on the corner. Our Hotel recommended G&S to us after we checked in and said we were starving. Arrived around 5pm and the restaurant was fairly empty so, we were seated right away. G&S is like a Sports Bar/Restaurant combo.
Our server Catherine was prompt and friendly.
My son and I both ordered a cup of the Clam Chowder. YUMMO! I could've taken a gallon to go, it was that good.
My son ordered the Shrimp Poor Boy and I had the Mediterranean Snapper. Both dishes were plentiful and well prepared.
Avoid the crowds and long lines at the "tourist restaurants" and dine where the locals go.
I'm still savoring the yummy Clam Chowder.

Great service. The romaine pasta was superb. Grouper Francaise was amazing as well. If you want a delicious twist on an old fashioned try theirs!

Celebrating family visit from up north. Sister and brother liked their food. I found my grilled fish so salty could not finish, but green beans were very good. and high quality. The restaurant was also very noisy. The restaurant could also do with better signage, took a little while to find and park even with GMaps.

We visited George and Wendy's on 6/11. It was our 3rd time there in the last 18mo, always visit when in Sanibel. We have had great food and service every time. Our server Sally this visit was exceptional! Please try the Lobster Alfredo. You won't be disappointed.
