Lazy Flamingo

If you want a quirky beach side bar and grill, this place hits the nail on the head! Want to challenge your taste buds? Like wings that can make your nose run, your eyes water, and your lips go numb? Then, get the Dead Parrot wings! Super ???? so don't say I didn't warn you! A little pricey, but the food and atmosphere were worth it!

Good food but no waitresses! We had to keep getting up for drinks and food! The original one is much better!

Great little place with great seafood options. We rode our bikes over from the rental house and this was a good find. The blackened shrimp are good and spicy, the grilled grouper is fresh and the fries are crispy. The bartender was friendly and we left with full bellies. If you want to avoid the traffic snarl on the north side of Captiva stop at the Lazy Flamingo. It a casual laid back place with friendly people.

Located right across from the beach this rustic looking beach shack office some of the tastiest food on the island. They do a phenomenal job on the grilled grouper sandwich and their conch fritters and chowder or are among the best around.

The portions are amazingly generous the staff is friendly and do a great job keeping up with the service for a very busy place. I also highly recommend the group of fingers as an appetizer as well as the Buffalo shrimp. If you are into spicy saucy shrimp you will absolutely love this appetizer.

Always love stopping here. The 1/2 dozen oysters are so fresh and delicious. Grouper basket was great. We also on another day split the steak sandwich. The meat was cooked perfectly on a super fresh roll. A great place to stop off for iced cold beer and to see people too. Love that you order at the bar and pick it up yourself & bus your own tables too. We always sit at the bar when we can to catch all the action
