The Mad Hatter Restaurant

We went here for or 1st anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The building itself is a cute little place with lots of art in Alice in Wonderland style. There is also art created by one of their servers that is really cool. So cool that we bought some. :) There is a limited amount of seating so reservations are recommended. The wait staff was very friendly and super attentive. Our glasses never went below half full and dirty plates stayed on the table for less than a minute. The food was INCREDIBLE!!!! Pictured is the seafood risotto, that was the special of the night. My wife got the fillet mignon and ate every single bite. For dessert we got the vanilla ice cream with some sort of wine sauce. Simply amazing. Of course, yours probably won't come with the anniversary ring on top, but you should still get it anyway. :) We will definitely be back.

Anyone in Captiva MUST MUST MUST visit this place!! The pictures I posted are the delicious lamb chops and the amazing death by chocolate dessert which I ordered. Service is great, I always had my water refilled. It's a very calm atmosphere, having you admire the view if you sit near the window. Please visit here, you will enjoy it guaranteed!

This food was awesome. I was kind of underdressed I think but it was my birthday so... I didn't know what to expect here but wow! Talk about flavor. If you want something really nice in captiva to eat go here. Probably not the best if you have kids with you but for something like one or two couples it is perfect. Anything you order will be amazing. Kurt the chef is fantastic. I'm coming here again for sure ????. I had a mushroom soup and goat cheese pillows as they call them. Then I had a strip steak with shrimp. She got a seafood dish that was aces. The Kurt's cheesecake ????

My new favorite place to eat on either Island. Craig was a fabulous waiter. The food is excellent. I had the lamb, melt in your mouth good. The overall service from everyone, the chiefs, the other wait staff was above and beyond expectations. The team work between the servers was nice, wish more restaurants encouraged this. Keep it up, your staff and food are great.

As soon as you park you see the theme pulling you in and it continues when you walk through the door. Great decor and a great smile from the host with the best personality. Small dining room that keeps a great ambiance! The wait staff was attentive, pleasurable and very professional. The food was amazing and did not disappoint. Enjoyed every minute!!
