Rosie's Cafe & Grill

We chose this place since "locals" like it according to a blurb in travel guide. It was nice enough on the inside and we were seated fairly quickly. Yummy looking desserts available at the entrance. We also noticed that the food at guest tables looked colorful and appealing. Our server was nice enough and did check on us. She also quickly solved a problem when my son's fish tacos were mistakenly delivered as something else. Our food took a while...bordering on the edge of ok to too long.I was underwhelmed with my grouper basket. The sweet potato fries were more breading than potato. For a splurge on my eating it wasn't worth it. My son also didn't think much of his meal either. It was ok, but I think we would have been happier picking up something from Bailey's Market without the wait and for less money.

This cafe rocks! Food is so delicious. Compliments to the chef indeed. Always take visitors here not only for the awesome entrees but also for the wonderful ice-cream. A must for anyone visiting the island????

Perfectly fine food, we had the crab dip & chips and a Sanibel Seafood Salad. Main reason for only three stars was the wait. It was about half empty but we had to wait to be greeted, seated and served. Prices were very reasonable compared to some other places on the island. Staff is friendly, orders were correct, just don't be in a hurry.

Had a great time at Rosie's this morning for breakfast. Have heard good things and all true. Nice and friendly staff, great food and plenty of good options. I had the French Rose Benedict and it was great, they even did a hard poached egg as i dont like runny yolks. Also tried the biscuits and gravy and the grits. All very well done. Absolutely will be returning.
