So much flavor! Really good prices. Super clean. Owner is welcoming. Totally going back with friends. Fried pork chop was the best part. Very juicy and perfectly seasoned.

My friend and I found this place quite by accident. It was open on Sunday; we were new in the “big city” using Google Maps to navigate through town and we were hungry! As we walked up, someone was sitting outside in their car eating. We did not know if we could even have sit down service.

The heavenly smells that waft from the serving bar were so tantalizing. My taste buds watered as I asked the gentleman at the door what their procedure was? (Go to the serving bar, decide if you want a plate or all you can eat, the server will fill your plate and you can get it to go or have a seat in their dining room.)

Lima beans with ham hocks, rice, collard greens with fat back, sweet potato casserole with pecans, mac and cheese, pot roast, fried chicken pork chops, mashed potatoes, baked chicken, the freshest looking salad bar... Banana pudding, strawberry cake, cornbread.
This is a small list... I can not remember all of what was on that serving bar!

As we sit down to say grace and eat, I really looked at this awesome diner. The precautions taken for C19 are great! High plexiglass separate the servers (5-6) from the customer. Everyone has gloves and mask. There is hand sanitizer for server and customer alike. A+ on this task!!!

The food is superb and the atmosphere is charming!

Love this Southside spot. Excellent down home cooking and friendly staff. Check it out, you will not be disappointed. Menu changes daily and includes fried chicken, stuffed pork chops and gravy, ribs, black-eyed peas, corn bread and much more.

I'm going to start off by saying, If Fried Chicken is your favorite, Big Cory's will not disappoint. I've had a lot of fried chicken and I must say it is at the top.

Now to complement the fried chicken everything was great. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was outstanding.
