I've only visited for breakfast..good especially the catfish. Small portions tho..
They've improved on their quality of food since the last time I was there looking for some real old fashioned down home cooking
Earley's Kitchen is a Tallahassee institution. If you like Southern cooking, this is the place for you. Breakfast has biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs and pancakes. I like to recommend this place to teams coming to Tallahassee for a competition, because you get a substantial breakfast for just a little money. Lunch is also an excellent value. It's the classic meat and two sides, or three sides. Typically you can choose between fried chicken, catfish, oxtails. Sides are things like collards, cornbread dressing, rice and gravy, green beans, and my favorite, fried okra! My DH prefers the 4 sides, no meat option. And while they have lots of vegetable sides to choose from, I don't know that they're vegan or even vegetarian, because lots of them have bacon pieces, or lard. If you're in Tallahassee, and don't want another chain food
