Georgio's Fine Food and Spirits

We just had a great meal here. Subtly seasoned calamari was cooked perfect, although I wish that the marinara was warmer. Salads were fresh n tasty and house-made dressings were spot on. Steak a perfect medium rare with a nice char, excellent prime rib, and very good fish. Lemon-dill potatoes tender and tasty and asparagus was great. Everything was salted in the best of ways, with salt used in cooking to season, but letting the flavors shine through; you can always add more, but can't take it away. Service was perfect, as in attentive but not obtrusive. I think that my only real complaint was that their online menu has not been updated, so time spent perusing ahead of time was wasted and there was some disappointment when we saw the current one, but current online menus are a pet peeve of mine.

Went here for the first time since moving to Tallahassee and I have to say, this was an excellent dining experience. The food quality was excellent, we were seated quickly and had a really good wait staff to help us decide what we wanted to eat. Absolutely loved this place. We'll be back soon.

Went to Georgio's on Saturday for an early Mother's Day dinner and despite it being busy, everything was on point!!! The food was amazing and beautifully presented. We had the Lavosh as a starter and it was so good! I had the tuna tower as my entree and not only was it presented lovely, it tasted fantastic! My husband's prime rib was cooked perfectly! My server Morgan, who was also a bartender, was attentive, knowledgeable and I highly recommend requesting her!

I currently work with some of the top restaurants in Miami and grew up in a family restaurant. This place is one of the few gems of Tallahassee. The quality is top notch, which is hard to find in an area with an over abundance of restaurants trying to save costs by lowering their food quality. The owners and Chef Grant implement family recipes making it a one of a kind place. Anyone complaining about price may not travel to many cities and dine in fine dining establishments much. If you enjoy good food and wine check it out.

My family and I went to Giorgio’s last weekend to celebrate my husband’s graduation. The food was wonderful, and our server was lovely. We did, however, take issue with how long the service took. We understand it was a very busy time for the restaurant, but we were there for over two and a half hours for just dinner; no appetizers or dessert. The soup alone took 30 minutes to come out, as did the coffee after dinner. Our server was very apologetic and sweet, but as the night went on, we got fewer and fewer check-ins, and eventually had to flag someone down just to pay our bill.
