Kairos Mediterranean

The food is absolutely terrific. It is fresh, nutritious, healthy, with a flavorful Greek flair. The reason for the three stars is that the staff for the most part is not very pleasant, helpful or friendly and the menu especially for first time visitors is not very straightforward. Actually the menu seems over complicated. Worst part is that I always feel like I am bothering them by ordering or if I ask any questions. No thank you, have a great day, welcome, enjoy your lunch, etc.. They seem disgruntled, not even to like each other, want to be there, or want you there. Thought it was us, but overheard the table next to us discussing the same. Again the food is great and that at least makes it worth while to eat here.

I must preface that my expectations may be too high. Having enjoyed the Greek restaurants at the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs, I can't help but compare.

Kairos is a Mediterranean counter service in the same fashion as Moe's and Subway.

Price is a bit high for the quality. The food is definitely edible, but doesn't equate to the price. I likely won't return. So many better places

My husband, son, and I just went to Kairos for the first time and really enjoyed our meals! Everything tasted so fresh and there were lots of healthy options. My Grain Power Bowl with Kairos chicken, brown rice, veggies, lentils, and hummus was delicious. I will be back again soon!

This is a build-your-own style restaurant rather than having a lot of prepared dishes. You can choose from various bowls, pitas or platters and create just the way you want with your choice of protein, toppings and sauces.
Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Great Greek/Mediterranean flavors and plenty of choices. I had a bowl and my daughter had a pita which is like a custom gyro.
The staff was friendly and helpful in explaining all of the choices. We'll be back!
