Stopped by after driving by. Found out my instincts are as sharp as ever. Excellent food and friendly people.

I liked their sauces, but the ribs didn't taste smoked or grilled. They tasted like good baked ribs. Not what I was expecting.

Oh y'all great food here. I love the ribs, chicken, pulled pork nachos, sweet tea and the hubby and wife who run this place.
Definitely if your running through traveling through Tallahassee you definitely need to try this place. Also I'd you live here in Tallahassee you should give this place a try. Great food and her and her husband are the sweetest, friendliest.

I'd been meaning to try this for forever. Got the chopped pork and beef brisket sandwiches, smoked sausage, mac n cheese, and slaw. Pork was excellent, brisket very good and very tender, smoked sausage was very spicy (I didn't expect that and it was too spicy for my family), mac in mac n cheese was overly soft but the cheese flavor was very good, slaw was very fresh and crunchy and not glopped with mayo but was extremely sweet. Their sauce is right at my limit of sweetness, but is very flavorful and a great balance of vinegar and a little zip otherwise. I really wish that they had more than one sauce, with a vinegary/not-sweet option. If I ranked things individually, I'd say five+ stars for the pork, five for the brisket, 3 for the sausage mainly because of not being labeled as so spicy, four for the mac n cheese, two-ish for the candy slaw, and four for the only sauce. Normally I'd give a four with some things being not-great, but my teenage son just finished off a leftover sandwich and said that we should get more tonight.
