Woodchuck's Cafe Inc

The pancakes are great. I decided to get the woodchuck special for the first time. The home fries on top were cooked, the ones underneath were soapy. So a little less than cooked. Also, never seen home fries look like this and not crispy. It was cheap so, you get what you pay for.

I go here often and the food is really good and reasonably priced for a hole-in-the-wall diner. The service during my visit today was initially poor. My table's brunch got mixed up with to-go orders so our wait time was much longer than usual. However, the server made up for the snaffu in spades! She was fantastic; profusely apologetic, and bent over backwards to make up for the mistake. I understand things happen in a restaurant but how they pivoted is why I am rating 5 stars and why I will continue to eat here!

I got the stuffed woodchuck with fried okra. Amazing lunch! Burger and okra on point. Plus, Barqs available to drink with my meal. Only regret is I was too full to try a cupcake.

I am absolutely gobsmacked at how absolutely amazing this little cafe is. We found it via Google reviews but when we pulled up we were a bit scared when we saw it was attached to a gas station and there are pumps outside. Please don't let that put you off, go in!!!

So cute inside, very clean, adorable decor, quiet ambiance. They have seating inside and outside,, we were seated right away, the waitress was very hospitable. The menu is amazing, a LOT of choices, and so many unique comfort food items. The food came out quickly and that's when my table of four was really blown away.

I had biscuits and gravy and they literally were the best biscuits I have ever had. So soft and tender, held the flavorful gravy so perfectly, amazing. Another person had sweet potato pancakes and we all had a bite and they are to die for!!! Another had a Black and Bleu burger that I would have to assume was good because he was wolfing it down like it was the last food on earth. They apparently have good dessert, but we were so full we couldn't ask. We are going to have to come back through here on our way back home home 🏠 to Dallas, because this is our new favorite restaurant. Just amazing. Not to be missed.

WOW! Ate here for the first time today and it was amazing! The closest thing to a homemade burger that I have ever had from a restaurant. The Dead Texan burger was EPIC! The onion rings were awesome! Will definitely be eating here often!
