“5 star pizza is one of our go-to pizza spots for pick up. Our preference is for their thin crust pizza, but the regular crust is good, too. We prefer our pizzas well done/crispy, which you can see here. Delivery is available, and it's through the restaurant, not Uber eats or anything like that. If you order online, there are usually coupons available to save some money. 5 star has yet to disappoint. There's only one other pizza spot in Tallahassee that is in the same boat. Thank you 5 star for consistently good food and service.”

“These guys are great. Ordered a large two topping pizza with grilled chicken, which was on a deal on their website and I loved it. It's loaded with cheese. The pizza was not doughy at all and it was airy and was great. The grilled chicken on the pizza was in generous portions and tasted awesome. The guys in the shop were awesome, too. The pizza was ready in less than 10 mins. I would definitely order again. The only gripe that I have is that you are not able to pay with cash when you order online, unlike other pizza outlets. I hope they offer that option in the future.”

“My pizza was so so good I love it. I got the Pineapple Express. The crust was perfect, a good crunchy and tasty. Pizza had a lot of sauce and tasted amazing. Cheese also stretched a lot so that was fun! Pretty good amount of seating. I went Saturday at 8pm and I was the only one dining in but plenty of people took to-go while we were there. “Great concept and even better flavors. Salty because the portion size is SO small. I at least expected a few chunks of zucchini for a large bowl but literally got two paper thin slices cut in half. I asked for extra zucchini and she explained they only change the portion of the protein, not the veggies, if you pay for a larger size, but she still gave me a side of zucchini "because she wanted me to be happy"-great customer service. For a $12 bowl, really should have more vegetables than meat. Still great food though and super healthy and fresh.”

“Awesome experience from the moment we walked in! We were greeted by Desmond who answered questions, gave suggestions and let me taste things to make sure I would like them on my bowl. Everything was fresh and had flavor. I’m excited to go back and try new combos. I was especially impressed by Desmond because you could tell her really cares about customers and about the food. “Saw this new commercial about stuffed crazybread. So, I decided to get some for the kids and I for movie night. It was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Had to wait my turn outside before entering to pay, due to pandemic. It wasn't a long wait. I was impressed the customers ahead of me were being served rather quickly. Friendly cashier. “I'm a Tally local and I've been going to China First for as long as I've lived here, which is well over fifteen years. This restaurant never disappoints, and is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in all of Tallahassee. The buffet prices are more than reasonable, and the food is consistently fresh. One of my favorite things to get from their buffet is the sushi, and unlike some of the places in town they don't limit the amount of sushi you're allowed to get. I will be continuing to dine here for many years to come.”

“I read the reviews before going here and we got the feast for two. It fed two adults and two children AND we had left overs. The pork is SO GOOD, chicken was... chicken and the brisket was yum! Definitely a friendly place and each staff member greeted us with a smile and small talk. I didn’t notice anything bad or anyone receiving any different treatment by not being “the right type” like previous reviews that mentioned negative treatment. “Thank you to this Hungry Howie's, which helped salvage an evening. I had originally ordered and paid for Papa John's online. However, when I went to Papa John's (the Lake Jackson location) the store tried to charge me substantially more than what I paid online. I showed them the receipt and the store flatly refused to do anything except charge an incorrect price. In the end, I walked out and ordered Hungry Howie's from the parking lot. Had my order in 20 minutes. Problem solved! And the pizza and cheesesticks are consistently good.”
