Amazing food and drinks. Had the cheese steak, and it was phenomenal. Same can be said about the shrimp po boy, and shrimp n grits. They have potato chips that are made in house, and are absolutely wonderful. Definitely a must try spot.

Stopped by on Labor day right at opening time and we ordered the crab cakes and a side order of fries. The wait was a little long, but the view and atmosphere of this place made it well worth it. Great view of the gulf and the boat ramp follies. Could even see the Crystal River powerplant. Our orders came with a fresh garden leafy salad with goodies in it and a dish of coleslaw both of which were tasty. Fries were good and hot but a little salty. Although the crab cakes could have been a little more "meaty", they were very good. The waitress and the rest of the staff were courteous and attentive and we really enjoyed our visit here. This restuarant is bright, airy and clean and the bathroom is impeccable.
For around $50 + a $10 tip we left happy and bellies full.
Highly recommend 83 West as a go to relaxing place to eat versus the two other "restaurants" we walked out of.

Really good food and very friendly staff

Good food, excellent coleslaw.

I loved this place! Great view, very clean inside. Socially distant tables. Went there for lunch and ordered the kabobs, bacon wrapped scallops, and wings. The steak on the kabobs melted in your mouth and was cooked perfectly. The wings were pretty good, decent overall I would say. I also ordered the philly cheesesteak for lunch and that was very good. The servie was very quick and the wait staff there was very friendly! The drinks were good and overall a great atmosphere. I would recommend this as a great place for lunch!
