Rod and Reel Pier

Mostly great. The seafood platter is overpriced and inadequate. The sandwiches are much better. The place is quaint and it's fun to watch the fishermen. Beer is cold. Service is attentive.

The view is breath taking. My son & I frequently come here. He fishes & I enjoy the beach area. The food is reasonably priced and proportioned.

Cool location on the pier. It's fun to watch people fishing. We saw dolphins come up all around us and sometimes pretty close. Lots of good seafood choices. I had the grouper fingers and my wife tried the grouper rueben, which she loved. Our only complaint was the service. They were nice and helpful but typically complacent and slow. Overall it was good and we would recommend it. Parking is pretty tight, per usual.

Great grouper sandwich, this is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at when I'm out on the island. The View is awesome where turquoise water from Tampa Bay and the Manatee River come out to meet the Gulf of Mexico. When I have friends or relatives who come to visit me here in Bradenton, I always like to take them out to the island and straight to the Rod and Reel Pier, it is famous four its grouper sandwiches and their French fries also. If you have not been out to the Rod and Reel Pier you are really missing hey beautiful place with the views that are breathtaking. So grab your friends or family and show them what Florida Tropical Paradise is really like

Nothing showy, just good seafood located at the end of the pier on Anna Maria Island. Friendly, courteous staff make it a pleasure to dine there. Prices are certainly reasonable considering the area. Their restrooms could use some upgrading and attention. Outside dining although limited is a plus.
