Anna Maria Oyster Bar - Cortez

2019-03 Good parking that is often crowded. Good restrooms. In general very good food pick something fresh instead of frozen. Portions at the bar may be smaller than when at a table. Recently had a bad experience with greeter wanting to not seat us. And the order placed was entirely wrong and waited another 20 minutes for the correct food which was excellent. I saw another table wait so long most of them had to leave. And their order arrived wrong as well. These things happen so don't be too surprised . It's well worth it most times. There are four AMOBs out there.

Lunch with golfing buddies. Seated promptly by a friendly hostess. Drink orders were gotten post haste. Most guys had the lunch fish and chips. Fish nicely rendered, fries crisp. Tartar sauce comes in a squeeze bottle and is quite well done. Sides are generous. All in all, a good experience. Oh, and drink refills were quickly delivered without asking. Good touch.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar is the place to go for very good seafood for a moderate price. They also have higher end fare, such as King Crab legs and Lobster. Their hamburgers and Thursday Prime Rib are excellent. A full bar, good selection of beer and friendly fast service make it a no brainer. But be warned, come snow bird season, it will be very busy!

The place was very inviting. We had a party of 6 and were easy able to be accommodated. The managers were on top of their game to make sure that we were well taken care of. The appetizers were out fast! And the main meal was soon to follow. The best was the desserts.

Our first time here. We were seated immediately even though it was busy. We had Paige as our server, she was great, patient and polite. Paige made some recommendations and they were good. Pasta, shrimp + scallops was plentiful. I left very full. My wife had shrimp and salad, she loved it. We are quite discriminating and didn't know what to expect as it is a rather casual place. Needless to say, we left satisfied. We hope to get back.
