Casa Maya Mexican Restaurant

First time there- absolutely and surprisingly delicious beef burrito with a small side salad that was exceptional. I do not usually go for Mexican, but my friend wanted to try a new place. I will definitely return!

We have been here five times now. Food and service was very good. We like the place and will be back for more. Never had a bad or average meal. Shrimp tacos were the best I ever had. The owner or manager is usually around and is very attentive to make sure all is well and asking for feedback. It's a popular restaurant in the area.

Authentic, delicious, and located in a relatively quiet area, it's definitely worth a try. I had the burrito supreme and it was amazing. The staff is great and they do their best to accommodate their patrons. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating.

Hands down THE BEST Mexican food in Sarasota. We lived here for a few years now and have tried just about every other place looking for something decent... This far exceeds decent. Great food, outdoor seating, friendly service. This is our new spot.

The food was very good, fresh and generous in portions. Our waitress was courteous and as prompt as she could be considering the busy lunch crowd. However, the employee who initially greeted us, and sat us down was openly impatient and rude to me when I was trying to explain that our group might be larger than we initially planned. It was my very first impression of this restaurant. I am still debating whether I will try it again. There are so many good restaurants in this area. It may not be worth chancing that this employee may be my server and treat me badly again.
