Shanghai Chinese Restaurant

My family ordered pick up after a long day at the baseball field. We're new to town and looking for our "go to" Chinese restaurant. We ordered the hot and sour soup, General Tso's and broccoli beef.

The Hot and Sour soup was delicious. It was HOT and SOUR and filled with vegetables, tofu and I think, chicken!? The portion was large.

The General Tso's combination meal I ordered seemed like a small portion at first, but after the soup I ended up with enough for two meals. The chicken had a wonderful crunch, which I thought would be impossible with the amount of tasty, slightly spicy, sauce. It also came with an egg roll ( I was too full to try it! next time ) and pork fried rice, which was exactly how I'd expect pork fried rice to taste.

My husband had the broccoli beef and he raved about it. I'm anti-broccoli so I didn't try it. But, two of my kids ate it and so that's pretty impressive.

The service was prompt and the prices were fair. I can't wait to go back.

Great local Chinese restaurant in West Bradenton. This would be easily accessible for the local area including Anna Maria and Holmes Beach for vacationers. Great service (fast), huge portions even for lunch menu, and friendly service. Just remember to grab your sauces and silverware for takeout as it's not automatically included.

By far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Bradenton. They’re always nice and get you order fast and effectively. The food is fresh and always delicious. Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys Chinese food.
