Fun spot with a large menu and many options to choose from. The food and experience is not spectacular but it’s solid. Portions were large and very filling, the table side guacamole was very fresh and tasty, the chicken fajita was also good. Don’t plan on doing strenuous activity after this meal, your body will be needing all its resources to digest. Overall a good experience, wouldn’t mind eating here again.
Nicely decorated Mexican restaurant! The food is pretty great as well to top it off. We got the fajitas, it came with a lot of beef, chicken and shrimp. Most places skimp out on the meat and just give you more veggies. Not this place! Chips and salsa were good as well and a really nice atmosphere! Friendly staff and they also speak Spanish and English here.
Found this restaurant near our hotel this evening and it was a pleasant surprise. Best service in weeks of any place we’ve been from Iowa to Florida. Super friendly staff who all seemed happy and like they enjoyed working there. Service at the bar from Leighton was top notch. She makes a great margarita! Food was excellent as was the casual fun atmosphere. Hope to come back when we are in the area again.
The Mrs and stopped here based on a friend's recommendation.
First we liked the "Day of the Dead" decor. The place looked great.
The hot salsa that came with the chips was really good.
The frozen strawberry margarita was reported as really good.
The Mrs taco salad was just good.
I had the Macho burrito. This trended to bland for me. It didn't have the spark that I had hoped for.
Service was really good but surprisingly we were not asked if we wanted a second drink.
In general the place was ok and it is worth your consideration.
This place has been around for 1 week, and I was really excited to have a new restaurant close to home. When we walked in, you could tell a lot of work went into this place.
The menu was large... many items to choose from. There is a large indoor dining area and also a big bar with ample seating available.
At our party, 4 different meals were ordered. Grilled chicken bowls, Caribbean chicken bowl, trio amigos, and tacos. I want to say the food was delicious because it looked and smelled amazing.
My bowl, HOWEVER, had a foreign object in it. Luckily, I saw it before eating it. But the worst part is that I ate half my bowl before seeing it. I don't even know what it is... We tried to guess.... part of a necklace pendent or fishing lure....... when I brought it to the waitress attention, she said she would order me a new bowl and did. The new bowl was delivered by a different server, and a *I'm sorry* was said while placing in front of me.
After I paid for my bill.....which included the price of the bowl....a woman came over, didn't introduce herself, and said since I paid my bill she would remember my face and give me a discount next time. She didn't take my name or offer a gift card....just said she would remember me. It felt as if she waited for me to pay the bill before even addressing the situation. It was pretty busy, and they seemed short staffed, and it took awhile before someone took our payment. It's not like the opportunity wasn't present.
We were pretty disappointed with the management. I'm giving it a 3 since it's new, and the food was okay, and our waitress, who seemed to have a dozen tables, was efficient and friendly.
