Sonny's BBQ

My oldest son and I had an enjoyable experience here. The place wasn't packed, the service was good (and friendly), the food was hot, the beverages were HUGE, and everything was freshly made.

The restaurant is fairly new and very clean. There are plenty of BBQ options. The portions are nice and the price is good. My pulled-pork was tender and flavorful. The Red Neck Egg Rolls were a great appetizer and definitely worth having!!

They have a reasonably priced lunch menu. We stopped here on our way across the state. The place itself was nice. Our server was good. The manager came over to check on us. The problem is that both our stomachs hurt about 30 minutes after eating here. And we both got different meat. :-/

Food is always excellent. I go here about once a month and I've never had bad food or service. I always get the turkey big deal and it consistently comes out within ten minutes. Friendly waitresses. Clean bathrooms.

This Sonny's is getting the 5 stars for service. We were seated quickly. Jasmin was our waitress and was fantastic. She was able to get my husband exactly what he wanted for dinner, even though it was not showing on the menu. And that was a wonderful way to end our long day. She was also very attentive and nice to interact with. The food was good as always. But again, the service for us was outstanding on this trip.

The food was excellent. The Coke was a little flat tasting, but the sweet tea was excellent. Our server was friendly, polite and helpful. Our meal was served so promptly, it seemed more like quick service rather than table service. This location was remodeled in recent years, so it's very nice looking inside and out. Location is ideal because there's easy access on and off I-75.
