Very good food, moderately priced and its staff treat you like family!

Filling and tasty. My friends and I felt very welcome and they are accommodating if they are out of something you want. It's a good ol country feel kinda place with good ol country food.

The brisket sandwich was what we ordered. It came on a toasted bun - bonus points from me, and smothered in sauce without asking what we preferred. I am not a fan of tomato based sauces myself although I ate it since the brisket looked and smelled delicious. The sauce can't be categorized as belonging to a particular style of sauce as it reminded me of a store bought ketchup with something added to it. I am not a professional judge of brisket, though I can hope one day, this was moist and delicious but had none of the usual signs of having been in a smoker or of being an actual brisket. The smoke flavor didn't go all the way through the meat and the outside had no crust. I thoroughly enjoyed it except for the sauce. Was it a brisket? Probably not. Was it a good sandwich? Definitely! If you are passing through and feeling the need for a quick bite right off I75 that is not a mcd's burger this is a much better decision.
