Eating House may have great food but the service I experienced was quite underwhelming. I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday and was disappointed by how bad the service was. Ten other tables got their dishes before I got one and they all ordered after me. I'd say to get my Pancakes took around an hour and a half. If you're looking for a brunch place with good food this is it, just don't expect to be waited on.
The food is fantastic, but really, this restaurant consistently has some of the best (and friendliest) service I've had dining in Miami, bar none. The first time I went a few years ago, another diner at my table accidentally dropped his fork. Before he even had a chance to reach for it, one of the staff appeared from thin air and handed him a replacement. Just a few days ago, the exact same thing happened again.
Yummy in my tummy! I’ve been for dinner in the past but have always wanted to go for breakfast for their Captain Crunch pancakes. They did not disappoint! I think the shocker was the loaded tater tots that was tossed in this unbelievable sauce that I couldn’t stop eating! The candied bacon was good as well but almost too sweet if you’re looking for something savory. The guava mimosa was just alright but I’m definitely coming back for round two!
Was here for a Saturday brunch recently and it was a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and the service was great too. Try the candied bacon, it’s is even better than the name and description can suggest. Pictured here is the soup of the day I ordered as a starter, which was a seafood one. So good!
Tucked away in a little corner, you will find this little gem. Went for brunch for sister's birthday. Great service from the moment we walked in. Promptly greeted and minimal wait. Not the largest brunch menu but ample variety to select from. Capitan Crunch pancakes are light, fluffy and extremely sweet (can of condensed milk ????). Eggs Benedict on thick toast and beautifully poached eggs. Yummy food all around!
