I love small local businesses. Went here to give it a try as the menu looks interesting. Came with the family. Nice n cozy spot.
The prices are a bit high for the portions. You don't get full-full, but these type of spots are made to get a bunch of things and pick at it all which we love. The issue was that the sandwiches all had a chemical taste to it. It all tasted as if there like a gas or propane on it, it's hard to describe, which was very unfortunate as we didn't finish the food. I would probably give them another try, but my wife wouldn't. Let's see what happens.
I think the food was DELICIOUS. Definitely will be going back again. The sandwiches are well designed and nicely tall. HOWEVER, 4 stars because the price is not quite where it should be. For two sandwiches, two lemonades and a single order of fries it was $55. Loved the food, but it's probably possible to offer it for a lower cost. If they shave $2-3 off the sandwiches I'd say it would deserve 5 stars.
Regardless, it's a must check out spot. With a location just across from Dadeland mall and right next to the container store (where you can easily park), if you have some cash to spare I STRONGLY recommend checking it out.
Mmm it’s a really weird menu. It was my first and last time. The only I really like was the dumpling. I asked for a recommendation sandwich and they brought me an actual fry crab and it was kind of weird. The lemonade is fresh and natural.
Service was ok, the thing I didn’t like was that the girl who served us used to take off the mask as soon as she left the table. She was in the bar without mask and she took the food without it as well. She put the mask on when she was getting close to the table.
