Great views but lackluster service. We made reservations for Sunday night dinner at the Rusty Pelican and valet the car out front which is the only option for parking (6 dollars). We were seated outside with a gorgeous city view of downtown Miami. 20 minutes pass at this point and the server is no where to be found. Finally they stop over and take our drink and food order. I ordered the house wine (17 dollars per glass!) while the other guest ordered a diet Coke. In order to get a refill we had to initiate the request by asking if we could get a refill. The server was never attentive by anticipating our needs but rather went with our direction. The food was what made up for the lackluster service. I wouldn't go back as I feel like for the cost of the meal service should be a lot better.

I took my husband as a surprise to celebrate the gift of life and his birthday. The experience was beautiful since the moment we came in. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very tasty. Thank you and thanks be to God!

Beautiful view of Miami skyline, especially at sunset. Food is great but wine and cocktails are ridiculously priced; $60-$80 for a $12 bottle of wine, $25+ for a whisky. We were there during a busy night when we found the bar service understaffed and overwhelmed. It took 15 minutes to get a wine list at the bar. Food service was also very slow, obviously working the bar tab up.

If you have deep pockets and plenty of time to enjoy the view, you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful view. We made reservations last minute. They have a very unusual take on cornbread that was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. Good service. My scallops were done to perfection.

Excellent food and service all the way around. The grilled octopus was one of the best I've had. Oysters were fresh and delicious Short Rib empanadas amazing.
Pork, Lobster, Halibut and Sea Bass for entrees. Not one complaint and nothing but empty plates in the end.
Great views of the Miami skyline. Would have given five stars if not for the valet parking fee which didn't seem right to me. There was nothing else to do there except for the restaurant. And we couldn't park the car ourselves, it was valet only. Oh well, it was well worth the visit. A must try.
