This was a very pleasant experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. What makes this place unique is their customer service. The staff was so friendly, welcoming, and fun. They really care about your dining experience. We loved it so much, we went back again the next day!
The absolutely most delicous Mexican food. Would love to visit again. The burritos were perfect and the margaritas were so good! Such a great spot to be. We sat outside and it was a favorite to sit at night. Fantastic service. The manager is very hands on and friendly.
Had a great birthday dinner here! Augustina was our server and she was so nice and polite. Spoke Spanish and English. Gave me a slice of cake with a sparkler which made my day even more special
I mean where do I even start? This place was absolutely fabulous! My fiance and I were staying at the Avalon hotel for a few nights for my birthday, he made reservations at A Fish Called Avalon for my main celebration. We were seated promptly it was a beautiful Miami evening with a wonderful ambiance. Live music had just begun, white table cloths and professional service. Our server's name was Marvin and he was superb! I had a lot of questions as we are from the west coast and used to the seafood options there. For an appetizer I wanted calamari, which they do not offer. Marvin recommended the grilled octopus appetizer instead, we were so glad he did. It came served over a bed of arugula with a squid ink reduction sauce and it was delicious! For our entrees we each had the twin lobster tails in a tarragon sake sauce which were divine! The key lime pie we took back to our room for later kept great, and the crust on it was interesting and tasty, unlike any I have every had before. If you are looking for a nice upscale place with a beautiful view, lovely ambiance, impeccable service, and delicious food, this is the place to go!
The manager (I forgot her name) was AMAZING!!! She was very interactive with us and we enjoyed her presence. She even provided our group with free shots. Our waiter was nice and attentive. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the Miami area.
