Excellent service atmosphere the chef is great thank you staff for a amazing night.
The streak of success of this Spanish restaurant is on the rise, and this is largely due to its owners, sparkling stars in the sports and entertainment firmament: Enrique Iglesias, Rafael Nadal and Paul Gasol.
And yet, Tatel also shines with a light of its own for its rich and varied cuisine that leads you on a journey of tastes across the Mediterranean and Iberian gastronomy featuring modern versions of delicious tapas.
This classy restaurant occupies part of the ground floor lobby of the famed Ritz-Carlton Hotel in South Beach. Tatel boasts a circular bar accentuated with an Art Deco style décor which lends it a unique atmosphere. Despite Tatel’s refinement, the overall ambience is laid-back and pleasant.
Miami Spice 2017: We chose the first reservation they had right when they opened on a Saturday night. Since we were the only table in the restaurant, we had every single employee's attention.. and by attention I mean, they stood a few feet away and stared at us as we ate. It was so uncomfortable. By the end of our meal, the restaurant was filled with people tipping our server $50 every time she refilled their champagne glass, so it took us about 20 minutes to get the check. It was a complete 180 with no happy medium.
Aside from that, the food was excellent. I highly recommend the ceviche, the risotto orzo, and the martinis.
Fantastic!!! The attention, the live music, everything delicious... Just marvelous! #SoChic
Wonderful experience. The staff was very attentive. I liked how they explained the complimentary pate with bread appetizer. The preparation of the Milanesa was a work of art. The Brie Flan was also delicious. Will return! Thanks Rafa/Enrique/Pao!
